# Access

Agent Ready HTML is a public, read-only publication. Every page and file is public, no credential exists and nothing is gated. The sections below follow the usual access outline so an agent can see the answer at each step.

## Discover

Start at /llms.txt or /agents.md. Pages, markdown twins, datasets, the feed and the sitemap are plain files at the paths they list.

## Pick a method

Use a plain request with no credential. Pages and files take GET; the MCP server at /mcp takes JSON-RPC over POST; the REST API under /api/v1/ and the NLWeb endpoint at /ask take GET, or POST with a JSON body. No method of authentication exists, so none is to be chosen. Send Accept: text/markdown if you want the markdown form of a page.

## Register

There is nothing to register for. The site has no accounts, no client identifiers and no sign-up page.

## Claim

There is nothing to claim. No quota, key or token is issued to a visitor.

## Exchange

No credential is exchanged. No token endpoint, authorisation endpoint or consent screen exists. The site publishes no OAuth metadata (no /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server, no /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource) because no endpoint, the MCP server and the API included, takes a token or a key. The machine-readable form of this statement is `security: []` with no security schemes in /openapi.json.

## Use

Fetch any public URL on the site with a GET request, or query the data files through /mcp, /api/v1/ and /ask as /developers describes. The viewer at /viewer/ also takes a GET request with a url parameter and is limited to ten runs per address per minute; it refuses private addresses and keeps nothing beyond the first 200 words of the page it reads.

## Errors

A missing path returns 404; under /api the 404 is JSON with a code, a message and a hint. The API, the MCP server and /ask allow 120 requests a minute per address, announced in RateLimit headers, and a 429 carries Retry-After. A viewer request over the limit returns 429 with a Retry-After header. A viewer request for an address that is refused returns 400 with the reason in the page. No error means a credential is missing, because none is required.

## Revocation

There is no credential to revoke. To stop using the site, stop sending requests. Questions go to editor@agentreadyhtml.com.
