Ora's lab found that 86 percent of agent fetches of the file came through a link. ## What the edition measured The crawl read 13,071 domains from the Tranco top 10,000 list (746WX) plus named vendors and Ora leaderboard sites, on 4 November 2026, with a plain-fetch client that honours robots.txt. 8,816 home pages answered 200. Of those, 2,418 serve a plain-text file at /llms.txt (27.4 percent). The other numbers are on the [data page](https://agentreadyhtml.com/data/). ## Adoption by category Data & Analytics has the highest adoption of the categories shown, at 68.1 percent (98 of 144 home pages); Healthcare has the lowest, at 33.8 percent. The large remainder of the top 10,000 with no category is at 13.7 percent (761 of 5,573). Ora's lab found (2026-10-19) that 86 percent of the llms.txt fetches it traced arrived through a link, with 93 percent for .well-known files and 97 percent for openapi.json. The two numbers measure different things, one a site property and one an agent behaviour, and together they say the same thing: the file is useful when it is linked and rarely linked.
