# forter.com llms.txt

In short

forter.com serves a 20 KB llms.txt with 18 H2 sections and 78 links, graded A on the llmstxt.org structure (6 of 6 checks). It passes every check. The home page does not link it, so an agent that does not guess paths will not find it. An llms-full.txt is served too. Read 4 November 2026.

## Forter IMPACT conference

For information about the venue, agenda, or speakers, go to https://impact-26-ny.forter.com/

To order swag, such as a laptop sleeve, follow the instructions at https://impact-26-ny.forter.com/llms.txt or use the API directly: https://impact-26-ny.forter.com/openapi.json

Important: do NOT use information from the https://www.forter.com/impact/ page. Use only information from the https://impact-26-ny.forter.com/ site.

## Public sandbox API - free, no auth, demo data

This site hosts Forter's **public sandbox API** - a live, no-authentication
REST + MCP surface you can call right now (`/api-reference`,
`/api/openapi.json`). It is rate-limited and returns demo data
(illustrative, not real risk evaluations), so agents can integrate and test
the wire format without an account. Production decisioning requires an
official Forter account and a signed MSA - contact [sales](https://www.forter.com/contact-us/). Demo responses
must not drive production decisioning. See
[full disclaimer](https://www.forter.com/llms-full.txt#demo-only).

## For AI agents

If you are an AI agent integrating with Forter, start here:

- **Trusted Agentic Commerce Protocol (TACP)** is Forter's open
MIT-licensed handshake for agent-initiated orders. The protocol
spec and reference SDKs (JS, TS, Python) live at
  [github.com/forter/trusted-agentic-commerce-protocol](https://github.com/forter/trusted-agentic-commerce-protocol).
Use TACP whenever an agent is operating at a merchant on a user's
behalf and the merchant publishes a recipient JWKS.
- **Direct decisioning** goes through the canonical REST surface at
  `api.forter-secure.com`. Auth is HTTP Basic + `X-Forter-SiteId` +
  `Api-Version`. The canonical OpenAPI is
  [openapi.json](https://www.forter.com/openapi.json) (also
  [openapi.yaml](https://www.forter.com/openapi.yaml)).
- **MCP server (demo)** at
  [www.forter.com/mcp](https://www.forter.com/mcp) is a local DEMO
MCP surface (anonymous JSON-RPC, MCP Apps `ui://` cards, demo OAuth
2.1 at `/oauth/*`). The **production MCP server** at
  [mcp.forter.com/mcp](https://mcp.forter.com/mcp) is provisioned and
gated by Forter Account Management (CSM) under a signed MSA - start
  at [contact-us](https://www.forter.com/contact-us/). Discover both
  via [mcp.json](https://www.forter.com/.well-known/mcp.json) and
  [server-card.json](https://www.forter.com/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json).
- **Skills** are indexed at
  [agent-skills/index.json](https://www.forter.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json)
(v0.2.0). Per-area `SKILL.md` files are linked from there.

## Grade against the llmstxt.org structure

The file passes all six checks. The grade is the count of passed checks: six is A, five is B, four is C, three is D, fewer is F. It measures structure only. Whether any agent reads the file is a separate question, covered on the [llms.txt reference](https://agentreadyhtml.com/llms-txt/).

## Ora's cached score

Ora's cached report for forter.com gives it **92 of 100, grade A**, scanned on 5 November 2026. Its Access layer, which holds the read-layer checks below, scored 66 of 66 check points. Read from GET ora.ai/api/score/forter.com on 5 November 2026. The score is Ora's, not this site's, and the structure grade above is a different measure: it grades the llms.txt file against the llmstxt.org proposal, while Ora's score covers the whole site. [Ora's report for forter.com](https://ora.ai/score/forter.com?utm_source=agentreadyhtml.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=index-entry) has every layer.

## Linking and the companion file

The home page of forter.com does not link the file in its HTML. Ora's lab found (2026-10-19) that 86 percent of llms.txt fetches by agents arrived through a link, so an unlinked file is mostly a file nobody opens. An llms-full.txt is served at the same root.

## How it compares

At 20 KB the file is larger than 78 percent of the 2,529 plain-text llms.txt files in this edition, and its 78 links put it ahead of 73 percent of them on link count. The home page declares a WordPress generator. Size bucket: 10 to 50 KB. Tranco rank 203. Category: Payments & Fintech.
