# DeveloperHub: vendor profile

In short

DeveloperHub sends crawlers it does not recognise a 20,124-byte HTML shell with no article text. Recognised bots and assistants get rendered pages, and with llms.txt switched on a markdown copy of the page. There is no llms-full.txt. Plus costs $99 a month billed annually.

## At a glance

**standards.txt** developerhub

```text
llms-txt               = supports
markdown-negotiation   = partial
markdown-twin          = supports
initial-html           = partial
real-404               = no statement
vary-accept            = no statement
```

2 supports, 2 partial or announced, 2 no statement.

**DeveloperHub** Docs platform

Hosted docs and API reference platform that renders pages in the browser for people, serves cached bot-rendered HTML to crawlers, and when llms.txt is on gives AI assistants markdown at the page URL, .md copies, a per-version llms.txt and WebMCP tools.

## What it does for this layer

- DeveloperHub turns llms.txt on by default for new projects, under Project Settings, AI, AI Agents & MCP, Readers, and labels the feature beta. \[primary source\] [source](https://docs.developerhub.io/support-center/llms-txt.md), read 5 November 2026.
- DeveloperHub writes a separate llms.txt for each published docs version, refreshes the files every 5 minutes, and does not offer llms-full.txt. \[primary source\] [source](https://docs.developerhub.io/support-center/llms-txt.md), read 5 November 2026.
- With llms.txt on, DeveloperHub serves any page as markdown at its URL plus .md, and its llms.txt links each API endpoint on its own. \[primary source\] [source](https://docs.developerhub.io/support-center/llms-txt.md), read 5 November 2026.
- DeveloperHub hands AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity the markdown at the page's own URL, while search and training crawlers still get the HTML page. \[primary source\] [source](https://docs.developerhub.io/support-center/llms-txt.md), read 5 November 2026.
- DeveloperHub's SEO page lists bot-friendly rendering among its defaults and says bot-rendered pages are cached for 7 days. \[primary source\] [source](https://docs.developerhub.io/support-center/seo.md), read 5 November 2026.
- DeveloperHub serves /robots.txt, /sitemap.xml and /sitemap.txt at the docs root, regenerates sitemaps every 6 hours, and treats the short unversioned URL as canonical unless Canonicalize Short URL Form is set. \[primary source\] [source](https://docs.developerhub.io/support-center/seo.md), read 5 November 2026.
- DeveloperHub fills a page's meta description from its first paragraph unless an author overrides it in Page Info, and builds the title tag from the seo.titleFormats pattern %page% - %project%. \[primary source\] [source](https://docs.developerhub.io/support-center/seo.md), read 5 November 2026.
-   Every DeveloperHub docs page offers WebMCP tools (search\_docs, read\_page, get\_site\_overview, navigate\_page) to in-browser agents with no setup; read\_page and get\_site\_overview need llms.txt switched on. \[primary source\] [source](https://docs.developerhub.io/support-center/webmcp.md), read 5 November 2026.
- DeveloperHub's read-only Reader MCP Server sits at /mcp on the docs URL with a single search tool over Streamable HTTP, needs AI Assistant on, and is limited to public projects. \[primary source\] [source](https://docs.developerhub.io/support-center/reader-mcp-server.md), read 5 November 2026.
- DeveloperHub's pricing page lists Free at $0 on a DeveloperHub subdomain, Plus at $99 per month billed annually ($129 monthly), Pro at $199 ($229 monthly) and Enterprise from $499 per month; paid plans include a custom domain and a 14-day trial. \[primary source, 2026-11-05\] [source](https://developerhub.io/pricing), read 5 November 2026.
- On 2026-11-05 a DeveloperHub docs page fetched with a plain crawler user agent returned a 20,124-byte HTML shell with no article text and Vary: X-Bot, and a made-up path returned the same shell with HTTP 200. \[observed, 2026-11-05\] [source](https://docs.developerhub.io/support-center/seo.md), read 5 November 2026.
-   On 2026-11-05 the same DeveloperHub page answered Accept: text/markdown with 200 text/markdown at 2,710 bytes and Vary: X-Bot, Accept, User-Agent, matching its .md URL. \[observed, 2026-11-05\] [source](https://docs.developerhub.io/support-center/llms-txt.md), read 5 November 2026.

## What it does not do

- DeveloperHub sends an agent that is not recognised as a bot or assistant a JavaScript shell with no article text, so content in the initial HTML depends on user-agent detection.
