Trusted by over 2.4 million websites, Cookiebot facilitates more than 8.8 billion visitor consents monthly.

Cookiebot is a product of Usercentrics A/S, a Denmark-registered company (reg. no. 34624607). It uses patented scanning technology to automatically detect, categorize, and control cookies and trackers on websites. Cookiebot does not replace a legal team or guarantee compliance […] the website operator remains responsible for their implementation. Cookiebot provides the tooling; compliance is a shared responsibility.

Cookiebot does not offer a REST or programmatic API for external systems (beyond the on-page JavaScript API), DSAR automation, or native mobile app consent management. Mobile app consent is handled through the Usercentrics product.

## Core Features

## Privacy-First Website Analytics

[Privacy-First Website Analytics](https://www.cookiebot.com/en/privacy-first-website-analytics/) is an optional add-on available to all Cookiebot CMP accounts, billed separately from the main CMP plan. A 14-day free trial is available; the trial ends automatically with no auto-renewal.

It provides cookieless, anonymized website analytics designed to capture visitor data that tools such as GA4 lose when visitors decline consent. In Maximum Data Privacy Mode, tracking requires no cookies, no fingerprinting, and no IP address collection […] producing aggregated trends only. If a visitor does provide consent, a full analytics suite activates.

Features include traffic trends, AI-driven traffic source insights (including AI referrers such as ChatGPT and Gemini), heatmaps, session recordings, conversion funnels, and on-site polls and surveys. Data is hosted on EU infrastructure in Germany.

Pricing is credit-based, with plans from €2.99/month (500 page views) to €39.99/month (50,000 page views). The add-on can be used alongside GA4 or as a standalone replacement.
