Docusaurus: what an agent reads
In short
Docusaurus does not ship llms.txt in core. Docusaurus totals 7 of 16 on the eight numeric keys, from a test build of Docusaurus 3.10.2. It also does not negotiate markdown on its own, since output is static files. Docusaurus: Docusaurus is a static site generator and generates HTML files for every possible path at build time.

Docusaurus Framework, Meta Open Source
Open-source static site generator for docs: HTML for every route at build time, with llms.txt only through community plugins.
Work left to the developer: Medium: write or install an llms.txt plugin, link it in the footer, and add the host rule for Accept; the 404 page is already built.
The nine scores
| Key | Score | Evidence | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Content in the initial HTML | 2, on by default | Test build, Docusaurus 3.10.2, 2026-11-04: the classic template prerendered the home page with an H1 and the docs pages with their text. | docusaurus.io/docs/advanced/ssg, 2026-11-04 |
| Real status codes | 2, on by default | Test build: build/ held 404.html and docusaurus serve answered a made-up path with 404 directly. | docusaurus.io/docs/advanced/ssg, 2026-11-04 |
| llms.txt generation | 0, not offered | Test build: no llms.txt or robots.txt in build/ (sitemap.xml was written). Docusaurus has no first-party llms.txt feature; community plugins exist and none was installed. | docusaurus.io/docs/seo, 2026-11-04 |
| llms.txt linking | 0, not offered | Test build: nothing links an llms.txt and none exists. | docusaurus.io/docs/seo, 2026-11-04 |
| Markdown on request | 0, not offered | Test build: Accept: text/markdown on / returned text/html and /index.md returned 404. The output is static files, so negotiation has to live in the host or an edge rule, the same need Astro has. | docusaurus.io/docs/advanced/ssg, 2026-11-04 |
| JSON-LD output | 1, with setup | Test build: no JSON-LD emitted. A script element can be added through the config head tags. | docusaurus.io/docs/seo, 2026-11-04 |
| OpenAPI exposure | 0, not offered | Test build: no OpenAPI file or link; Docusaurus has no first-party feature for one. | docusaurus.io/docs/advanced/ssg, 2026-11-04 |
| Fenced, tagged code | 2, on by default | Test build: a fence in a docs page became a pre element with a language class (language-md) from Prism, with no setup. | docusaurus.io/docs/markdown-features/code-blocks, 2026-11-04 |
| Work left to the developer | Medium: write or install an llms.txt plugin, link it in the footer, and add the host rule for Accept; the 404 page is already built. Based on the test build above and the documentation pages cited for each key. | docusaurus.io/docs/seo, 2026-11-04 |
